For the convenience of the subscribers, and help popularise the NPS, it has been decided that NPS subscribers
will, henceforth, have the option to pay their yearly NPS subscriptions in a single installment (as against the stipulated minimum 4 installments in a year) on payment of fee applicable to one installment.
Earlier it was compulsory to make atleast four contribution of min Rs.500 and atleast contribution of Rs. 6000 a year. However, now one can deposit Rs. 6000 at one go.
Also ECS facility has been initiated which makes it very convenient for the subscriber to carry on maintaining and continuing NPS account. Hopefully these measures can now take of NPS to popularity which it truly deserves.
